At StepStones for Youth, our mission is to create transformative changes in the lives of youth in and or from Canada's Child Protection Services. We drive at better systems and approaches to stabilize their housing, increase school engagement and employment opportunities, improve their mental and physical health, and help them build long-lasting relationships and community.
A criticial part of how we accomplish this is our Engagement Program, where youth attain resources, attend workshops, and learn strategies across a variety of areas. These include everything from food and nutrition to fitness and mindfulness to resumé building and post-secondary applications.
Loredana Cunti is a passionate volunteer and supporter of StepStones and leads cooking workshops, empowering youth with the skills and the resources they need to start preparing healthy meals at home. If you are interested in helping support StepStones' programs, you can donate to Loredana's page here!
StepStones for Youth thanks Loredana for helping us ensure every young person in and from foster care has the opprtunity to thrive!
