Crafting Change is an exciting FREE after-work event to raise funds for youth involved in the child welfare system and to celebrate the wonderful community of supporters who allow us to make an impact in the lives of so many young people in our community!
This year's Crafting Change also marks a crucial milestone in our journey - our 20th anniversary! Please join us on this special evening as we reflect on our organization's journey over the years with delicious appetizers, an open bar, and good company.
We are deeply grateful for the faith you have shown in our work over the last two decades, and we wouldn't have reached where we are without the generosity of our loyal supporters. With your support, we have changed the lives of hundreds of young people in and from the foster care system by providing them access to affordable housing, mental health resources, and an overall sense of belongingness.

Our Fundraising Goal
StepStones for Youth is growing! In the last year alone, we supported over 350 young people from the foster care system and helped them secure affordable housing, stabilize their mental health, and support their educational journey. In our 20th year, we are aiming to reach 600 youth with our programming! Our team has expanded to meet this rising demand, but we have a rapidly growing waitlist for our services.
Last year you helped us raise $55,000! This year we are looking ahead to the next 20 years of StepStones and want to raise an additional $1000 for every year we have been serving youth. Our goal of $75,000 allows us to provide urgently needed housing, mental health, and educational supports for young people and improve their future outcomes. Please help us reach our goal and make the next 20 years even brighter than our first 20!

$125 - Life Skills Workshop for 5 Youth
Youth from foster care may not have had someone to teach them about how best to study or how to budget their money. Provide life skills workshops to 5 youth and help youth learn critical new skills!
$500 - Provide Groceries for 2 Months for a Youth
No one should have to worry about going to bed hungry. Give a youth 2 months of groceries so they have the energy to focus on their education, career and goals.

$1200 - Provide a 2 Month Housing Subsidy for a Youth
Provide a youth with a rental subsidy for two months so they can have a safe place to call home so they can focus on re-enrolling in school, applying for jobs, and stabilizing their mental health.
